GALERIA BETTATURART Exhibition InaugurationSaturday 11 FEB 2o23 - 12-14:30hVia de Imperi Romà, 11 | TGN Jessica Stockwell and Paul Sanchez, two artists living in Tarragona, met in October 2022 by chance. As Jessica was walking to Arrabassada beach she met Paul who was sitting on the rocky cliff catching the stunning Mediterranean Sea, sunlight and landscape in illustration and watercolor. Their collaboration and appreciation of Catalan life and the streets of Tarragona will be on display February-March 2023 in the newly created Pop-up Art Gallery on the 3rd floor of Bettatur. A building in the historic, La Part Alta, of Tarragona at Via de Imperi Romà, 11. Together they are celebrating Tarragona with an artististic perspective and they capture the streets scenes that have made it recently popular— as mentioned in the New York Times —52 Places To Go in 2023.
The exhibit includes Jessica's Tarragona in Sunglasses Collection - a conceptual take on Tarragona's iconic sites in faces w/sunglasses prints. And Paul's Tarragona Street Scenes Collection - 30 street scenes where Paul captures exceptional light and color in 1-2 hours before it fades.
